Export an editor timeline

Export an edit as a timeline file (Final Cut Pro XML) that Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut can open

Writes the edit (the same format render-an-edit takes, with encode width, height and fps) as an xmeml timeline naming each source by the path it has on the editor's computer, saves it in your files, and says what the file could not carry.

What it asks for

  • edl (Needed, details): The edit; each source is the absolute path the editor will find it at
  • title (Optional, words): The sequence's name
  • source_metadata (Optional, details): Per source path: fps, duration, width, height, has_audio
