Record a step with a customer

Write down a step with a customer, such as outreach, a reply, a booked call, a purchase, onboarding, a follow-up or feedback, as a record to keep

Keeps the step in your own customer records, with a new id, its time, a label (a plain default for the kind when none is given), the outcome and each piece of evidence once, and returns it; see-where-each-customer-is reads it back.

What it asks for

  • contact_id (Needed, words): The customer's id, as their customer-contact record names it
  • product_id (Needed, words): The product the step is about
  • step (Needed, one of): What kind of step it was
  • label (Optional, words): Optional: the step in a few words
  • outcome (Optional, words): Optional: what came of it
  • evidence (Optional, list): Optional: references that show it happened (a message id, a file, a payment)
  • owners (Optional, list): Optional: who owns the follow-up
  • actor_id (Optional, words): Optional: who took the step
  • at (Optional, words): Optional: when it happened (ISO time; default now)
