Make a repository into a tool

Turn a public code repository into a working tool for a job, so later calls run it directly

Downloads one commit of a public repository into an isolated deployed container, works out how to make it do the job on a sample input, runs the kept tool on that sample to check it does the job, stores the working files under their BLAKE3 identity, and keeps it as a tool with the licence class read from the repository.

What it asks for

  • repo_url (Needed, web address): A public GitHub repository address
  • job (Needed, words): What the tool should do, in plain words
  • sample_input (Needed, details): One example input; each field becomes an input of the new tool
  • expect_contains (Needed, words): Text the sample run's output must contain; the kept tool is checked against it
