Show work still going on
Show this person how far along some long work is (a copy, an upload, a render, a transcription, an AI's own job) as one live card in Trillion that moves as you report again, and tell them once when it ends
Show this person how far along some long work is (a copy, an upload, a render, a transcription, an AI's own job) as one live card in Trillion that moves as you report again, and tell them once when it ends
Give key (the same key each time you report the same work, so one card changes in place), title (what the work is, in a few words), and optionally state (running until you say done or failed), progress ({ done, total, unit? } counts, where unit bytes is shown as sizes, or { label } words only), body (a line under the title), source (where it runs, like a computer's name or a tool's label), kind (the kind of work, which picks its look and how its end is told, like transfer, transcription, export or working), chips (at most 6 short facts { text, tone? } drawn as a row under the title, like 12 of 40 files or 3 heard), refs (ids the kind's address uses) and open (an address in Trillion starting with /, which Open goes to). While it runs it is shown only in Trillion; when state is done or failed the person is told once through every way that kind goes. A card not reported again for some minutes reads as stopped. Returns reported, id, state and said.
Connect the AI you already use to Trillion once. Then ask in your own words; your AI finds this tool by what it does and runs it.
Say to your AI: “Use Trillion to show this person how far along some long work is (a copy, an upload, a render, a transcription, an AI's own job) as one live card in Trillion that moves as you report again, and tell them once when it ends”
What your AI calls: run_tool {"tool_id":"tool:report-progress"}
