Run a job in an app on my Mac

Run one or more operations in an installed app on this Mac, using files from your files and save requested results back to your files

Runs in an app on this Mac through that app's own tool server. Leave out operation to see what the app offers, or send steps to keep one app session's files available across several operations. Use files.inputs and files.outputs to name the files to bring in and save. In arguments, {"input_file":"key"} names an input file, {"output_file":"key"} names an output file, and {"output_dir":"key"} names the private folder containing that output, and {"from_step":0,"path":"answer.clips.0.id"} is the value an earlier step of the same job answered (steps count from 0). The app must be installed on this Mac; an app that works only while it is open is opened for you in the background without taking focus; if it does not start in time the job says so plainly. Never file a Waiting on you row asking the person to open an app.
