When this happens, run a tool or workflow

Set, list, remove or run now this person's rules: when something is recorded in their Trillion (a message, a decision, a commercial event such as a paid deal, any kind they keep), an item is added to a pursuit they are in, or an event arrives from outside, a tool runs or a workflow starts by itself

The same rules as set_rule, list_rules, remove_rule and run_now. when: { recorded: <kind>, where: [{ field, equals | one_of | starts_with | contains | present }] } for a record, { space_id, kind, where } for a space item, or { source_id, event, words } for an outside event. A paid negotiated offer is recorded as kind commercial-event with event negotiated_offer_paid, contract_id and buyer_ref. Each rule runs once per thing that sets it off, only for what happens after it is set.

What it asks for

  • operation (Optional, one of): set (also changes or turns on and off one with its id), list (when left out), remove, run-now (runs it once, now), or reset (puts one of Trillion's own back as Trillion has it now)
  • rule_id (Optional, words): A rule_id from list; set with it changes that rule, remove, run-now and reset need it
  • when (Optional, details): What sets it off: { recorded, where }, { space_id, kind, where } or { source_id, event, words, whole_word, field, once_per, skip, batch }
  • then (Optional, details): What runs: { "tool_id": "tool:...", "input": {...} } or { "workflow_id": "workflow:...", "input": {...} }. An input value { "fill": { "from": "record", "field": "text" } } is taken from what set it off.
  • label (Optional, words): What the rule is for, in plain words
  • enabled (Optional, yes or no): On (true) or off (false)
  • input (Optional, details): run-now: values laid over the then's own input
